The Bartolosch EHA is an electro-hydraulic notching unit for automated notching, driving and folding over of pre-profiled panels with 25 mm double lock standing seam. The proven machine has been known in the market for years. It achieves high quality solutions with all common construction metals – but has not quite reached the high quality with aluminum with stucco embossing. Just as cars need special tires for special conditions to work, the EHA needs some support with embossed aluminum. The phenomenon of cracking during the forging of aluminum has been solved this year in a joint workshop with Prefa, Bartolosch and the company Rudolf Brach. The result has been the development of a three-part package in the form of a driver made of high-performance plastic, a special stop and an extension of the control system. This package has proven its suitability for series production in a long-term test at Rudolf Brach GmbH & Co. KG in Saarbrücken, Germany, and has now also convinced numerous experts at the Euroblech trade show. Bartolosch Managing Director Christoph Gerigk comments: We would like to formally thank the workshop participants and are pleased to be able to present this market-ready solution for driving aluminum standing seam profiles to our customers.
